Cebu Shines as Adventure Hub at Outdoor7 Summit

To strengthen Cebu’s reputation as a top adventure destination, the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 7 has launched the highly anticipated Outdoors7 Summit 2024.

This is a five-day event, starting November 20-24, 2024, held at Ayala Malls Central Bloc and Seda Central Bloc in Cebu I.T. Park. It features a dynamic lineup of forums, exhibitions, and business networking opportunities, as well as focusing on advanced safety, sustainability, and innovation within the adventure tourism sector.

Since its inception in 2021 as a regional initiative by DOT 7, Outdoors7 has evolved into a flagship event for adventure tourism. Additionally, it serves as a platform for professionals, operators, community guides, and other key stakeholders in the travel industry to collaborate and share insights. Furthermore, this growth underscores its importance in shaping Cebu’s adventure tourism landscape while reinforcing the region’s commitment to sustainable and innovative travel experiences.

Lastly, the 2024 summit places a strong emphasis on visitor safety, effective risk management, and the economic and lifestyle advantages of outdoor activities.
